  • How does your billing system work?
    Upon agreement on purchasing sessions, you will be required to put your credit card down in your Jane client profile and we will charge sessions from there. We also accept cash or e-transfer!
  • What can I expect from the first session?
    The first session will be a full, comprehensive assessment. We'll chat all about your training and injury history, take some body measurements, measure some vital signs, take you though a few movement screens, and some sub-maximal testing. From there, we'll make your individualized program tailored to you! **The assessment IS your first session of a training package. Ie. if you buy 12 sessions, it's 1 assessment plus 11 sessions**
  • What if I need to cancel a session?
    We require AT LEAST 24 hours notice if you need to cancel a session. Otherwise all other cancellations inside the 24-hour window will count against you, and a deduction will occur from your training package. Of course, life happens and gets in the way, so we will use our discretion accordingly. You can easily cancel your session in your Jane client account as well.
  • How long will it take to see results?
    This depends on the person and on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to: age, gender, training age, training frequency, patience, diet, sleep, stress, etc. On average, you will see neuromuscular gains within 2-4 weeks and physical gains in about 6-8 weeks. ​ Through the three E's (Educate, Empower, Excite) hopefully I'll be able to shift your mindset to focusing on your "why" and on the journey, rather than the destination in order to achieve long-term success. We generally recommend clients work with us for a MINIMUM of 8 weeks to see some results.
  • Do you offer nutrition services?
    No we do not, since it is out of our scope of practice. We can only offer you nutritional GUIDANCE. If you do need a nutritionist, we will refer you to one that we trust!
  • How do I know where to start?

  • How much does it cost to train?
    We would like to answer this in two parts. First, by showing a certain quote we learned from another professional: "Paying for 'health' seems absurd to many until it's taken from you... then suddenly no amount of money is too much to get back to where you were. You might as well invest in becoming Superman, rather than waiting to drain your bank account trying to get back to Clark Kent." Secondly, we can't give a concrete answer because it truly depends on a lot of things! We won't lie to you, hiring a coach to work with you 1-on-1 is an investment and future you will thank you later. We can give you a better idea of the cost after we chat about your history and your goals. We want to help you improve your quality of life WHILE achieving these goals so send us a message here so we can get started!

  • I see that you offer Non-Registered Massage? How do I book it?
    Yes! Kevin is currently in school to become a Registered Massage Therapist with a projected graduation date of August 2024 and will most likely write his board exams in the first few weeks of September 2024. However, he is able to provide massage treatments as a Bodyworker until he becomes registered with the CMTBC. Email Kevin at kevin@thekineticway.ca to book a session!
